It will consist of establishing up conferences, recording
conferences, gathering information for customers, information around
agreements, maintaining touching present customers and brings, developing new
brings, shifting all of their present sales actions towards a near, and a
thousand and one other sales relevant actions.
The only way a salesman can be truly efficient is through a
quality in efficient time control.
One aspect of that quality is studying to get over
procrastination... they are too active to procrastinate!
Almost everyone I know will hesitate to some level.
Some individuals are normally larger procrastinators than
others.
Some individuals will talk about their capability to
hesitate... and they may well be efficient in their job, because (a) they are
not in sales, and (b) they will not hesitate on projects that need to get done.
If you put off developing those "niggle cell phone
calls", developing the "duty" trips and doing the projects that
you just don't appreciate, then all you are really doing is either (a) losing
actions and struggling the repercussions, or (b) developing a larger efficient
time control issue when everything supports up and needs to be done at once.
Procrastination IS organic, yet it is NOT sensible.
Procrastination does not create the projects go away... or
at least if they don't get done there are likely to be consequences!
The factor about the sales job is that there are always many
projects that need to get done in regular basis, and they are not all going to be
enjoyable or simple... so procrastination is just not a choice.
I see some salesmen who do not want to call individuals into
new brings (whether cell phone calls OR heated calls).
I see some salesmen who don't want to come back cell phone
calls to angry customers.
I see some salesmen who don't want to force their customers
for choices.
I see some salesmen who will delay for the cell phone to
band rather than be proactive!
These types of behaviors will price you company... because
your competitors IS contacting, is speaking with your "unhappy"
customer and is defeating you to the choices.
If you want to be efficient in sales this is one place that
you need to expert.
You need to do everything in regular basis.
You should become a "Ninja" of efficient time
control.
You should be someone who ALWAYS gets the job done!
So... use "To Do" information, focus on your
performance, set yourself objectives and do not put off those projects.
"You cannot evade the liability of the next day by
evading it these days." Abraham Lincoln subsequently.
